Exploring the Goddess Within - a workshop series

Exploring your personal guideposts and inner
self in mask creation for the new year,
though intuitive writing, reflection and art:
The Goddess within, archetypes of Demeter, Persephone, Hera,
Lilith and more will be woven into the first day (1/3/10), which will be filled with Descansos mapping (memory-honoring the year passing) and
Vision Mapping. Throughout the three meetings we will have a chance to
explore through readings, sharing and writing to get the juices flowing,
welcoming the turning of the year. The second day (1/17/10) we will work
with symbol and connection, as we each create a beautiful mask or
body casting. Spending time in sacred creation, reflection of the process
we will draw closer to the goddess we choose through art. Taking the mask/casting home you will begin to celebrate your piece with art, creation and transformation - returning to the group on the third day (1/31/10) you will bring your mask and continue to transform the "Goddess Within" throughout the day. We will end our workshop with group sharing.

Personal Myth, Fairytale & Mythos

To experience this journey in private sessions, contact me directly...
Join a small community of fellow creative travelers to set out on
a journey to a new vision for yourself. You will be using a myth/vision,
your own life experience, mixed media, collage/SoulCollage and
other creative processes through which you will be led for three months, in five class sessions, guided meditations, with ongoing community support and group sharing via web.
You will begin with choosing your inspiration from images, life, history, dreams and desires - experience the process from there...creating a Healing Quest/Fairytale/Mythic journey and stepping into your own mythic experience. We will each be engaging in the layering of vision, story, ideas, art and creative exploration, using inner process such as guided imagery and mind mapping. While working with characters, landscape and other elements, each of us will witness our own and each others reflections of the human story through our many different lenses.This creative process will allow each of you to discover new twist and turns, re-framing, imagining and stepping into your journey. Experience exciting and transforming insights and new inspiration.
Opportunities for healing and discovery of unexpected gifts await you.
No "art" experience is needed – this is a journey for the “inner creative” and there will be time for everyone to use or explore art mediums
such as collage, found-art, paint, mixed media, photography, beading, fabric or all of the above, both in group and at home between
sessions. Remember that Inner Art - the insight and change that
occurs “in the process” is a sacred practice, we are all artists.
